I grew up in the land of the Zia symbol as a very mischievous lad.  After high school, I attended one year of university in the Duke city, but then I decided to “be all that I could be.”  After a few long years in the land of the Boomer Sooners, I fulfilled my promise to my Uncle Sam and he in turn kept his and paid for my college education.   Since I could go anywhere, I followed my early passion of traversing down mountains in the Alpine fashion and landed at the mecca of winter recreation in a city made popular by Mork and Mindy.  Upon completion of my studies I started a career as a human to machine translator as highlighted in the movie Office Space.   Over the period of one score and four years I progressed from individual contributor to shepherd of individual contributors to leader of shepherds and then to farm manager but never farm owner.   It is my desire through this blog to have fun, discover what type of farm I would love to own and be passionate about and then become a farm owner.  Likewise I want to help others become farm owners as well.  Cheers – Ben
